A desire to live breaks free from within -
A desire to glorify the One who freed me from sin -
Though the path is uncertain
And the journey unsure,
My heart's desire is to be whole - to live pure.
A desire to press on in the face of defeat -
Rises from within - deep inside of me -
Though I am tired,
And the path is intense,
I'll press on in HOPE - trusting in God with patience.
I will cling to the TRUTH, cling tight and hold on -
I will keep my gaze fixed on Christ - God's pure Son -
He will hold me
And help me to know
That truly - I DON'T WALK ALONE!
